after returning home to find the garbage still heaping and even overflowing from the dumpster I decided to do a Google search for her office number. Instead, I found her e-mail address and wrote to her so that not only would I be contacting her regarding the issues at hand-but I would have written documentation of this exchange of information.
So I wrote her a letter explaining the situation of the halted garbage removal, the disconnected natural gas and safety issues I had addressed in a letter to the Landlord that had subsequently been returned unopened. To this she replied that she would forward the information to the Landlord, but that she in turn was not a Property Manager. To this, I desperately wanted to slap her for her insolence. Of course she isn't a Property Manager, but she is the only one he apparently answers his phone for. So to me, it made perfect sense to contact her.
Fast forward several hours later and it is revealed to me through a fellow apartment dweller as well as co-worker, that our natural gas has been reconnected.
I know that this will not be the first of the battls I face with them-but legally there is nothing that he can do if he doesn't pay his bills but take the proper channels and forge on.
